Hi @KrishnaG,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When an HP DeskJet printer gets stuck on a blank white screen, it usually indicates a problem with the printer's firmware or a hardware issue. Here are several steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Reset the Printer: This is often the first step in troubleshooting printer issues.

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait for it to initialize.

Check the Power Supply:

  • Ensure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and not through a surge protector or a power strip. Sometimes, these devices can cause problems.
  • Verify that the power cord and adapter are in good condition and properly connected.

Update or Reinstall the Printer's Firmware:

  • If possible, try to update the printer's firmware. This can be challenging if the screen is not functioning, but some printers allow updates via a USB connection using a computer. Visit the HP website for specific instructions related to your printer model.

Connect to a Computer:

  • If the printer is network-capable, try connecting it to a computer to see if the HP software recognizes the printer. This connection might allow you to perform diagnostics or firmware updates.

If issue persists, please consider it a hardware failure.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
