Hi @Rob4910,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with the connectivity.
It sounds like your HP Deskjet 2620 printer is being recognized as the HP Deskjet 2600 when you try to connect it to WiFi. This could be due to a few reasons:
Similar Model Numbers: The HP Deskjet 2620 and 2600 series printers are similar, so it's possible that the 2620 is being identified as part of the 2600 series by the software or network.
Driver Recognition: The driver or software you're using to connect the printer might be designed to detect a range of models and could be identifying the 2620 as part of the 2600 series.
Firmware or Software Issue: There could be a firmware or software issue with the printer that is causing it to be recognized incorrectly.
To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:
Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Deskjet 2620 printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve recognition issues. Try updating the firmware.
Reinstall Printer Software: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software on your computer. Make sure to download the latest software from the HP website that is specific to the HP Deskjet 2620.
Reset Printer Network Settings: Resetting the printer's network settings can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to reset the network settings.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

It sounds like you're encountering issues connecting your HP Deskjet 2620 printer to your mobile device. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:
Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device.
Restart Printer and Mobile Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer and mobile device, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.
Update HP Smart App: Make sure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your mobile device. Check the app store for updates.
Forget Previous Printer: If your mobile device is still trying to connect to a previous printer, you may need to forget the old printer from your device's Bluetooth or Wi-Fi settings.
Reinstall HP Smart App: If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app on your mobile device.
