Printer Wifi not working

My smarttank 5101 printer will not connect to my wifi network. It was connected, cat (or WIFE) unplugged cord from wall. Printer came back on searching for a network (blue wifi symbol was flashing). When I go through the HP app and entered my network password, it comes back saying password not correct and has an error that just says -3. I have removed the printer and tried to re add the printer. it asks if I want to use my phone to help connect. If I say yes (continue) it just goes to a black screen. When I enter the password option it I get the incorrect password error. I can only use the printer with a usb cable plugged in. It will not connect to the network. Worst of all is the Non Existent support from HP.com. I bought my printer in April, it's now the beginning of June and the factory warranty is already expired forcing me to pay $19.99 for 1 call to support?!
