HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have asked similar question recently but wish to revise it.  Printer and PC both online but now printer does not recognise PC.

After changing from BT copper to BT fibre with Smart Hub 2 the HP Envy 5530 printer was often not connected to PC when scanning or printing, although constant blue light on.  From touchscreen settings found router and using Wizard tried to reconnect - sometimes worked but if not turning printer off and on again did.  Now after doing the same it says connected but when I try to scan it says no computer found.  Nothing changed so do not know why it has stopped connecting.
Have tried restoring default settings and using Wizard again - no luck and turning printer off/on and PC/router off/on etc - did not work either.

I tried to uninstall printer under printers and devices - it is set as default printer but when I access menu with right mouse button I cannot cancel default and if I click on remove device nothing happens.   I  do not know if I have to install printer again using disc that came with it or some other way such as downloading info via a usb cable.
Finally if all else fails there is a USB socket on the router and the PC, and a square one on the back of the printer - could I connect with a cable instead of wi-fi.  Would have to move printer each time I needed to print but at least it would work.
Could I please have some advice on this as other people seem to have had similar problems.
