Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

This fix didn't last.  After web services was removed and reset up, I was able to scan to email directly from the printer.  30 minutes later, the error message came back.  After going through the process of adding a few email choices to be able to scan and send to, this is very annoying.  

 

What else can be done?

I just went to use it this morning and the same thing happened to me.  Is there another solution for this problem?  It is such a nice feature yet when not working so annoying.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

I have followed these instructions and it comes up with the same notice about the "Web Server"  although I appreciate your efforts we are all spending way too much time on this.  I agree that this seems to be an "HP" issue and trying to solve it individually with no success to me is not quite customer friendly.  Nothing is working for me at this point.

I agree I have spent two days trying to fix this issue.  I have uninstalled, re-installed, used the fix it tool and still not working on my Envy 7645.  Is there anyone that has the answer?

I too have done all of the above with my envy 7640. Nothing… tell me which brand of printer you buy after you throw your HP away.
