HPDeskJet 4100 All in One printer is offline. Had this problem before and tech fixed. Trying to fix myself. Put in new printer cartridges and now printer info sheet says that's okay and that the printer is connected to wireless network, gives IP address and that signal strength is excellent, but that "this printer is not connected to the internet." Printer is offline. Don't know how to connect to the Internet. Rebooted router, unhooked printer and turned it on and off and reset computer as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @ptcmurphy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the issue might be with the printer's connection to the internet rather than just its connection to the wireless network. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
- Check Network Settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings or wireless setup menu. Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct wireless network and that the network settings are correct.
- Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
- Restart Router: You've already done this, but it's worth mentioning again. Turn off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can help refresh the network connection.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website.
- Reset Network Settings: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the printer's network settings to default and then set up the wireless connection again from scratch.
- Check for Interference: Ensure that there are no physical obstructions or interference sources near the printer or router that could affect the wireless signal.
By going through these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the connectivity issue and get your printer back online.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
