Hi @terrymerry-3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you've lost connection to your HP Envy printer, follow these steps to reconnect:

Ensure Printer and Device are Ready:

  • Make sure your printer is powered on and not in sleep mode. You can wake it by touching the control panel or pressing the Power button.

Check Network Connection:

  • Verify that both your printer and computer or mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If your printer has a wireless icon or button, ensure the light is on. If it is off or blinking, your printer may be disconnected from the network.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer and your computer or mobile device to resolve any potential temporary issues.

Move Closer to Router:

  • Position your printer and computer or mobile device closer to the wireless router to improve signal quality.

Reconnect to Network:

  • For printers with a touchscreen, navigate to the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu, select Wireless Setup Wizard, choose your network, and enter the password.
  • For printers without a touchscreen, press and hold the Wireless button until the wireless light starts to flash. Then, press the WPS button on your router to establish a connection.

Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • When you first turn on your printer, it may enter Wi-Fi setup mode. Use your device to discover and connect to the printer during setup.

Check for Errors:

  • Print a Wireless Test Report from the printer control panel. Search for self self-test page on the HP Customer Support website to find instructions for your model.

Update Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers and software installed for your printer. You can download them from HP's official website.

Bluetooth and HP App:

  • Enable Bluetooth on your device. Certain HP apps require Bluetooth to detect and set up the printer.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
