@BeeJay5, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Connectivity Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're having trouble connecting your printer, here are some steps you can follow to resolve common connectivity problems:

Verify Network Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi) as your computer or mobile device.
  • Check if your printer is properly connected to the router and that the network is operational.

Reboot Devices:

  • Restart your printer, computer, and router. Sometimes, rebooting can resolve connectivity issues.

Check Printer Software:

  • Make sure that you have the latest printer software and drivers installed.
  • You can download updated drivers from the HP Support website.

Printer Setup:

  • For HP printers, use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix connectivity issues. It's available for Windows PCs and can be downloaded from the HP Support website.

Wi-Fi Settings:

  • If using Wi-Fi Direct, ensure it is enabled on your printer, and that your mobile device is connected directly to the printer's network.

Firewall Troubleshooting:

  • Sometimes, firewall settings can block printer connections. You can try adjusting your firewall settings and see if it resolves the issue.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
