HP Deskjet 3050A e-All-in-One Printer - J611a
Microsoft Windows 11

After changing my internetconnection to proximus fiber my HP deskjet 3050a printer doesn't connect to the network annymore. Tried all options. Tried WPS: wps fault. Tried to fill out manuelly: wrong password although it is the right one. For what I can see the router is secured with WPA2+PMF. Is it possible that my 'older' printertype is not compatible with the advanced security of the router?

In WPA2 you should be able to choose to use PMF as optional.
Issue is that older printers will not work with PMF enabled and with that said, means that most of them will not work with WPA3.

viable options are for you to wire your printer and share it via your computer, lower wifi security to WPA2 (non enterprise, no PMF).
