HP DeskJet 2710e All-in-One Printer

Printer status is ready
All settings, lights etc. look like it is good to go

Won't print anything.

Have tried turning off / on

Taking paper out and replacing

Taking ink out and replacing

Literally every time I press print, it just returns to the main splash screen and that is it.

Also, This webpage to post a question is awful and won't let me post this because it tells me to resolve an issue and that. Not impressed HP.

Hi @Tug6,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating the printer firmware.

Check for any software updates on the devices

Go to Settings > General > Update the software

And, if you have performed the below steps already and still having issues, then the printer needs to be checked.

Eliminate the error by resetting the printer without the ink cartridges.
Open the cartridge access door or cover.
If the carriage moves toward the center of the printer, continue with these steps.
If the carriage does not move toward the center of the printer, close the access door or cover. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power supply, wait 60 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord to the printer and to a wall outlet. Turn on the printer and then continue with these steps.
Remove the cartridges.
With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
Wait 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and into the printer.

NOTE: HP recommends that you plug the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Turn on the printer.

Reinsert the cartridges, and then close the cartridge access door or cover.
Follow the steps to align the printer if prompted.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

No, alas that doesn't work.
The software is seeing the printer - it registers the printer is busy when I print from mobile device, just can't print from the PC.
Currently I have to email myself the pdf I want to print, and print off of my mobile phone
