Hi @NJS3,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code B4EBA341 on your HP Envy 5530 typically indicates a hardware issue that may have been triggered by the power outage. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the problem:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear temporary errors.
2. Check for Paper Jams
- Open the printer and carefully check for any paper jams or foreign objects that could be causing the error. Remove any obstructions you find.
3. Inspect Cartridges and Printhead
- Ensure the ink cartridges are properly seated and not empty.
- Remove the cartridges and check for any visible damage or misalignment.
- If possible, clean the printhead gently with a lint-free cloth.
4. Reset to Factory Settings
- Depending on your model, you may be able to reset the printer to factory settings. Check the printer's menu or user manual for instructions on how to do this.
5. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP website. This tool can help diagnose and resolve printing issues.
6. Firmware Update
- Check for any firmware updates for your printer via the HP Smart app or the HP website. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs and improve functionality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
