Printer is connected to BT network but not internet

I have been able to set my printer up through my phone, connecting it to my BT Wi-Fi, but although it is connected to the network (as confirmed by the information page) it is unable to connect to the internet. I am at university so I do not have access to the browser, and I cannot connect to the university Wi-Fi since it is so secure.

@Brooke18, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This model printer does not have Bluetooth.You may either use a USB cable or connect it to a wireless network.

However, you cannot connect the printer to a guest/university network or a Hotspot. You need to connect it to a wireless router.

In case if you do not have access to a wireless router, you may connect the printer and the computer using Wifi-direct.

Note: While using wifi-direct to print, there will be no internet access on the mobile device. The default password is 12345678.
