Hi @Sonyanazmeenyas,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your printer is showing as not connected. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Check power and connection
Make sure the printer is turned on and shows no error lights.
If connected by USB, unplug the cable from both ends and reconnect it directly to the computer. Avoid using hubs or extensions.

Restart the printer and computer
Turn off the printer and shut down the computer.
Wait about 60 seconds, then power on the printer first and start the computer.

Verify the printer status in Windows
Open Devices and Printers on the computer and check if the printer is listed.
If it shows as Offline, right-click the printer and select “Use Printer Online” or “Set as default.”

Remove and re-add the printer
Remove the printer from Devices and Printers.
Restart the computer, then add the printer again using Add a printer or scanner.

Check the Print Spooler service
Open the Services menu and locate Print Spooler.
Confirm it is running; if it is running, restart the service.

Reinstall the printer driver
Uninstall the current printer software from the computer.
Download and install the latest full-feature driver for the printer model, then reconnect the printer when prompted.

I hope this helps.
