@Donna0711, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems that your HP DeskJet 3752 is online but may be experiencing issues with printing certain types of documents. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
Check Instant Ink Status (If Enrolled)
If your printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink and the subscription has expired, it may allow basic web-based prints (like Google pages) but block regular document printing.
- Log in to HP Smart or HP Instant Ink to verify your subscription status.
Set the Correct Printer as Default
- Windows:
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on HP DeskJet 3752 and select Set as default printer.
- Mac:
- Go to System Preferences → Printers & Scanners.
- Select HP DeskJet 3752 and ensure it is set as the default printer.
Clear Print Queue
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select See what's printing.
- Cancel all pending print jobs.
Test Printing a Local Document
- Open a Word document or PDF that is saved on your computer (not from a web browser).
- Attempt to print it directly.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows)
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose any issues.
Check Printer Driver
- If the driver is outdated or incorrect, uninstall and reinstall it from HP official website.
Disable "Print to PDF" (Windows)
If Microsoft Print to PDF is set as the default printer, change it to your HP DeskJet 3752.
Try Printing in a Different Format
- If your document is a Word file, save it as a PDF and then try printing it.
Factory Reset the Printer
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons for about 5 seconds until the light blinks.
- Reconnect the printer and attempt to print again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
