Product: Deskjet 2636

I bought this printer from someone and I am having issues connecting it to the wifi. I am not sure if someone in my building has the same printer but the printer that shows up on my wifi is asking for a password. The ex-owner said there wasn’t no password connected to it. She gave me her password just Incase and it did not work. I even tried my wifi password and it still did not work. Please help !!!

Dear Jen_abreu,

 

If you are trying to connect to your printer with WiFi direct, then there may be a password enabled. Often the default password can be either 12345678 or 12345678! but it depends on the printer. If you push the wireless button, and then the information button on the printer, a page should print displaying the current password.
