Hi @Granddogs3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand its frustrating When your HP printer is offline or not connected to the internet, I would request you to follow these steps in order to get it fixed.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is powered on and has a stable internet connection.
  • If using a wireless connection, check that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or device.
  • For a wired connection, ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the printer and the router.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, computer, and router to refresh the network connection.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Go to the printer's settings menu and ensure it is set to online mode.
  • Verify that Wi-Fi is enabled on the printer.

Printer Software and Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest printer software and drivers installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

Network Diagnostics:

  • Run the built-in diagnostics tool from the printer’s software or the HP Print and Scan Doctor to identify and fix issues.

Disable Offline Mode:

  • On your computer, go to Devices and Printers, right-click on your HP printer, and ensure 'Use Printer Offline' is unchecked.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
