Hi @PoppieT,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Tank 6001 printer is not connecting to your wireless network and is not recognised by your iPhone or iPad. Here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi network is functioning correctly. You can do this by checking other devices connected to the same network.

  • Make sure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network signal.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your HP Tank 6001 printer and unplug it for 15 seconds to reset it.

  • Restart your router by disconnecting the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then reconnecting it.

  • Restart your iPhone and iPad.

Reconnect the Printer to the Network:

  • Printers with a touchscreen control panel:

    • Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu.

    • Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

  • Printers without a touchscreen control panel:

    • Press and hold the Wireless button until the wireless light starts flashing.

    • Within two minutes, press the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button on your router.

Check Wi-Fi Direct Settings:

  • Make sure Wi-Fi Direct is enabled on the printer if you're using a direct wireless connection (without a router).

Check AirPrint Settings (For Apple Devices):

  • Ensure AirPrint is enabled in your printer's settings through the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) or app.

Print Test Page:

  • Print a Wireless Test Report from the printer to diagnose any network connectivity issues.

Bluetooth and Airplane Mode:

  • Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile devices if you are using a wireless print setup app.

  • Ensure that Airplane mode is turned off on your iPhone and iPad.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.
