Printer not connecting to wi-if saying I need a password for the printer

Are you trying to connect your Laptop or PC directly to printer using WI-Fi?

if so, the password of the printer is 12345678 as explained on page 26. That password is entered into the PC or the Smartphone or whatever you are setting up the printer with.

 

Are you trying to connect the  printer to the router?  Usually all devices are connected to the router.

If so, the password is stamped on the back of the router -OR- you have to get access to the router, log in, and see what the password was changed to.
