Printer not detecting WIFI

My HP ENVY 7640 all in one printer will not locate my WIFI.  The computer I am writing this on is right next to the printer and the WIFI is working.  The printer had the Insta Ink feature and will not let me print unless the printer is connected to the internet so it can update the ink status.  When I check the ink levels they are 3/4 full.   I recently got a new hot spot for my house and it has not been able to connect to WIFI sense then.  Can anyone tell me if this printer will work on the newer hotspot?

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

The printers do not work on hotspots. 

Do you have home wifi?

For instant ink, you need to have an active internet connection for it to work. 

Meanwhile, perform the steps from this document.
