Check Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the proper network or connected via USB properly.
  • Verify the network connection by checking the network settings on the printer control panel.

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure the printer is turned on and there are no error messages on the printer display.
  • Check for any warning lights or error codes on the printer.

Check for Paper Jams or Low Ink Levels:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or stuck paper.
  • Verify that there is enough ink in the cartridges. Replace any low or empty cartridges as necessary.

Set Your Printer as Default:

  • In Windows, go to "Printers & Scanners," select your HP printer, and set it as the default printer.

Update/ Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Check the HP website for any driver updates for your specific printer model.
