Hi @Ranger1171975,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP DeskJet Plus 4152 printer. There could be various reasons why the printer is not receiving print orders from your laptop. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the problem.

  • Check Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your laptop. If it's a wireless printer, make sure both the printer and your laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If it's a wired connection, verify that the USB cable is securely plugged in.
  • Printer Status: Check if there are any error messages or warning lights on the printer's display panel. This could indicate a specific problem that needs attention.
  • Printer Queue: Check the print queue on your laptop to ensure that the print jobs are not stuck or pending. Sometimes, print jobs may get stuck due to communication issues or print spooler problems.
  • Restart Devices: Try restarting both your laptop and the printer. This can often resolve minor connectivity issues.
  • Printer Software: Ensure that you have installed the correct printer driver and software on your laptop. You can download the latest driver from the official HP website.
  • Default Printer: Verify that the HP DeskJet Plus 4152 is set as the default printer on your laptop. Sometimes, print jobs might be sent to a different printer inadvertently.
  • Firewall and Antivirus: Check if your laptop's firewall or antivirus software is blocking communication with the printer. Temporarily disable them to see if it makes a difference.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and improve overall performance.
  • Test with Another Device: If possible, try printing from another device (e.g., a smartphone or another computer) to see if the problem is specific to your laptop.
  • Check Ink/toner levels: Ensure that the printer has enough ink or toner to print. Low ink/toner levels can prevent printing.
  • Reset Network Settings: On the printer, you may find an option to reset network settings. Try resetting the network settings and reconnecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
