Product: HP officejet pro 8035e
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

My new HP officejet pro 8035e is not printing.  The screen says "verifying" and when I press the X it says canceling.  Then I get a blue screen that has a number DD016980 and that's it.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting a DD016980 error on the printer display, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to reset the printer.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
