HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

My printer stopped mid print and has now lost wifi connection.  I've tried rebooting my router but that didn't fix.

@Bruce268, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Power Cycle Everything

Do this in order:

Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.

Turn off your router and wait 30 seconds.

Plug in the router and wait for it to fully reboot (this could take a few minutes).

Turn your printer back on.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

Option A: Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

If you've set it up with the HP Smart app before:

Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.

Tap "Add Printer" or select your printer (if listed).

If the printer isn’t found, select Set up a new printer.

Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect it to Wi-Fi.

Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you're trying to connect the printer to.

Option B: Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode Manually

If the printer is not found in HP Smart:

Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer at the same time for 5 seconds until the power light blinks.

This puts the printer into Wi-Fi setup mode.

Go back to the HP Smart app and try setting up the printer again.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
