Hello @Amelia2015, and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand your HP DeskJet 4152e keeps going offline even after restarting your router and printer. Let's walk through a few steps to get your printer back online and ensure it stays connected.

Check Printer Connection Status

  • On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button.
  • If the Wi-Fi light is blinking, the printer is not connected to your network.
  • If it's solid blue, it's connected.

Set Printer to Use a Static IP Address

Sometimes, printers go offline due to dynamic IP changes.

  • Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer.
  • Note the IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.105).
  • Open a browser and enter that IP to access the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  • Go to Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration.
  • Set it to Manual IP, and apply the current IP, subnet, and gateway.

Re-add the Printer Using IP Address

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Remove the existing printer.
  • Click Add a printer > The printer I want isn’t listed > Add a printer using a TCP/IP address.
  • Enter the static IP you set earlier.

Disable SNMP (Optional but Helpful)

  • In Devices and Printers, right-click your printer > Printer Properties > Ports tab.
  • Select the port with your printer’s IP > Configure Port.
  • Uncheck SNMP Status Enabled, then click OK.

Ensure Printer is Set as Default

  • In Settings > Printers & Scanners, select your printer and click Set as default.
