Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Every time I go to use my printer it says offline.

I follow all the instructions that say remove from app, set up again, go through mobile, go through computer etc and I can spend hours getting it back online, then the same problem again!

It now won't let me add it back on the app at all because it can't find it.

What do I do? I work from home and the last time my previous printer did the same I chucked it and bought a new one.

If your printer is connected wireless then possibly the router cannot wake it up.  My canon printer sleeps and I need to press the online to wake it.  My Cml1415 is plugged directly into the router and it wake up instantly.

See if you can disable sleep.

I am guessing this is a sleep problem.  if it is not a sleep problem typically you end up going through the Wi-Fi connection procedure.

If you have to reconnect the printer every time it goes to sleep then the router has given it a different IP address every time it wakes up.  Let me know if that is the problem.
