HP Envy Photo 6200

Hi,

I have a separate Wi-Fi SSID for my IoT devices, which is where my printer is. I have setup firewall rules to allow printing from other SSIDs, and this does work perfectly.

However the "HP Smart" app on my phone doesn't discover the printer anymore - my phone is not connected to the IoT SSID. If I login to the HP website I can see the printer is connected and detected, and get real-time stats like usage, ink levels all OK. So everything appears to be working except HP app.

Does anyone know how I can rectify this?

Thanks

Ha, ignore that. It was permission requirements with the HP app itself!

I went through the 'Add device' process and it prompted me for some permissions to allow. Now I can see my printer.
