Product: HP LaserJet Tank MFP 2604sdw Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Printer is on a tested WIFI network, with lots of devices not having problems.

 

The control panel regularly shows the green WIFI light flashing on and off. Print jobs report "searching for printer", for a while, then fail. After power cycle, can print again once, then it goes off-line again, ansd jobs fail again.

If you have a newer wifi equipment, I would suggest you try creating a unique SSID for the 2.4Ghz channel and only allow the printer to connect to the 2.4Ghz WiFi. Some WiFi equipment allows you to perform this restriction without creating a unique SSID.
