Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Officejet Pro 9025 all-in-one printer. I had no issues and then one day, I cannot scan. My scanner gives me a message "To scan to a computer, use the HP software on your computer to set us this feature first".  This doesn't work. I have unplugged and replugged in everything. I have restarted the printer and my computer. I can print fine but anytime I try to scan, it gives me this message. When I try to scan from the HP software, I get a message "could not complete the scan". Please help.

Hi @Heatherc23

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are unable to scan. I'd like to help!

Use the HP Smart app to scan from your Win PC and Click here to download and know more about the app.

If that does not work, use the HP Print and Scan doctor. Click here to download and keep me posted on how it goes.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
