Hi @Tavia29,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi even though it prints the network password page. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Confirm the correct Wi-Fi network and password
Make sure the printer is trying to connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone or computer.
Re-enter the password carefully, paying attention to capital letters and special characters.

Restart the printer, router, and device
Turn off the printer, unplug the router for 60 seconds, then power the router back on.
Turn the printer back on after the internet connection is fully restored.

Restore printer network settings
On the printer control panel, restore network or Wi-Fi settings to defaults.
This clears any incorrect or saved network information that may block connection.

Place the printer closer to the router
Move the printer within a few feet of the router during setup.
Weak or unstable signal strength can cause the connection to fail even with the correct password.

Reconnect using HP Smart app
Open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer and choose Set up a new printer.
Follow the on-screen steps until the app confirms the printer is connected.

Check router settings
Ensure the router is broadcasting on a 2.4 GHz band if the printer does not support 5 GHz.
Disable VPNs or temporary network filters during setup.

Print a network configuration page
Print the wireless or network configuration report from the printer menu.
Check the Wireless Status to confirm whether it shows Connected or Not Connected.

I hope this helps.
