Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

A few months ago I upgraded my internet which gave me a new modem. A few weeks ago I turned on my printer & now it’s no longer connected wirelessly. I’ve gotten as far as trying to get it to connect but it says my wifi password is wrong…it’s not. Tried setting up through hp smart app too. That gets to the part to connect it and says it can’t. I’ve pretty much given up and am pretty sure I have to have a new printer. Something I don’t need my slow laptop for. So this is my last shot before I throw this away.

I understand that you are getting connectivity issues, I am glad to assist you.

Reset the printer's network settings

  • Press the (Wireless) button, and then, using the buttons on the right, scroll to and select Wireless Settings, select Restore Defaults, and then select Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.

Set up the printer using the embedded web server
