My Hp account shows plan and printer asleep. When I try to print it always says busy and is unable to complete my request

  • Resolve error messages: Check for any error messages displayed by the printer software and follow the on-screen instructions to resolve them.

Connection Check

  • Disconnect/reconnect USB cable: If your computer is connected to the printer via a USB cable, disconnect and reconnect the cable. Ensure it is firmly connected at both ends.
  • Wireless connection: If using a wireless connection, verify that the connection is proper and stable.

Printer Status Verification

  • Verify printer status:
    • For Windows 8.1/8: Open Charms bar > Settings > Control Panel > View devices and printers.
    • For Windows 7: Start menu > Devices and Printers.
    • For Windows Vista: Start menu > Control Panel > Printers.
    • For Windows XP: Start menu > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
    • Double-click your printer icon or right-click and select "See what's printing" to open the print queue.
    • Ensure there are no checkmarks next to "Pause Printing" or "Use Printer Offline."

Default Printer Check

  • Ensure the printer is set as the default printer:
    • Verify the icon for the printer has a checkmark in a black or green circle indicating it is the default printer.
    • If not, right-click the correct printer and select "Set as Default Printer."

Restart Print Spooler

  • Restart the print spooler:
    • Windows 8.1/8: Charms bar > Settings > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services > Print Spooler > Properties > Start.
    • Windows 7/Vista/XP: Control Panel > System and Security/System and Maintenance/Manage > Services > Print Spooler > Properties > Start.
    • Ensure the spooler has "Startup type" set to "Automatic."

Restart Computer

  • Restart the computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve various issues.

Clear Print Queue

  • Clear the print queue:
    • Open devices and printers as specified above for your OS.
    • Double-click the printer icon to open the print queue.
    • Click "Cancel all documents" or "Purge Print Document," confirm yes.
    • If documents remain in the queue, restart your computer and recheck.

HP Print and Scan Doctor

Reset Printer

  • Turn the printer off and disconnect from power, wait for about a minute, reconnect, and turn on.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issues with your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer and get it back to printing as expected.
