I can't connect to WIFI. It says pin is incorrect.

If your printer is showing that the PIN is incorrect when you're trying to connect to Wi-Fi, it could mean there's an issue with either the wireless settings or the way the printer is trying to connect to your router. Here’s a step-by-step guide to resolve the issue:

1. Reset Network Settings on Your Printer

To ensure your printer is starting fresh with Wi-Fi setup, you can reset the network settings:

Access the Printer’s Control Panel:

• Go to your printer's Home screen.
• Find the Network or Wi-Fi settings (usually under Setup or Wireless Settings).

Reset Network Settings:

• Look for an option like Restore Network Defaults or Reset Wireless Settings.
• Confirm the reset to clear any old Wi-Fi settings.

Reboot Your Printer:

• After resetting the network settings, turn off the printer for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.

2. Connect to Wi-Fi Using the Printer's Control Panel

Now that the network settings are reset, you can reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network:

Access Wi-Fi Setup:

• From the Home screen on the printer, go to Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Setup.

Select Your Wi-Fi Network:

• The printer will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.

Enter the Wi-Fi Password:

• Enter your Wi-Fi password manually, not a PIN. The password is case-sensitive, so make sure to enter it correctly.

Confirm the Connection:

• Once the correct Wi-Fi password is entered, the printer should connect to your network.

3. Connect Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) - If Available

If your router supports WPS, you can use it for a quicker setup without needing to enter a PIN.

Press the WPS Button on Your Router:

• Find the WPS button on your router (usually located on the back or side).
• Press it to activate WPS mode.

Use the Printer’s Control Panel:

• On the printer’s screen, select WPS as the connection method (look for it in the Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Setup).

Wait for the Printer to Connect:

• Your printer should now automatically connect to your router without needing a PIN or password.
