It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018E is connected but refusing to print, which can be frustrating. Here are some HP-based troubleshooting steps that might help:
Step 1: Restart Everything
- Power cycle your printer, computer, and router.
- Unplug the printer for 5 minutes, then restart.
Step 2: Check Printer Status
- Open HP Smart and go to Printer Settings.
- Ensure the printer is set as default and not paused.
Step 3: Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor here.
- Run the tool to diagnose and fix connectivity issues.
Step 4: Reset Printer Network Settings
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
- Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi and test printing.
Step 5: Update Firmware
- Go to HP’s support site and install the latest firmware update.
