@jfism, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To check the Wi-Fi network your HP printer is connected to, follow these steps:

Access the Printer's Control Panel: Most HP printers have a touch screen or control panel menu where you can view network settings.

Navigate to Network Settings:

  • Press the Wireless or Network button, depending on your printer model.
  • Select Wireless Settings or Network Setup.

Check Connection Status:

  • Look for options like Wireless Summary or Network Setup.
  • Here, you should see the name of the Wi-Fi network (SSID) your printer is connected to.

Verify Connection:

  • Ensure that the displayed network name matches your intended Wi-Fi network.
  • If it's not correct or showing as "disconnected," you may need to reconnect to the correct Wi-Fi.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Alternatively, you can use the HP Smart App (available for mobile devices and desktops) to check and manage your printer's network settings.

If you're still facing issues, ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router and there are no physical obstructions disrupting the signal.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
