HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I printed several papers this morning then suddenly the printer won't print.  Nothing is stuck in the que and I downloaded the Scan Doctor from HP and that says everything is all right.  Other people in the family can still print but I can't.  I'm not sure what could change on my computer to stop this in about 30 minutes from one print job that printed to the next that says error in printing.  I have deleted the printer and reinstalled it several times using the HP website and their program/driver suggestion and I still get the same message.  I have also watched several videos on YouTube and checked Device Manager and the Services area and they are set right.  I am just about at my wits end.  I may throw the printer away and buy something other than HP.

@RandeyP, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

As others are able to print to the printer, it is not an issue with the printer.

To assist you better, how is the printer connected?

Check the connectivity between the printer and your computer.

  • Restart your computer
  • Make sure the printer and the computer are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Are you using the HP Smart app to print or do you have the full-feature printer driver installed?

Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win 10 PC

Click here to download and know more about the app.
