Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer

My HP Officejet Pro 9020 turns itself off in the middle of print jobs.  The paper has part-emerged, the page is part printed.  It is a complete shutdown, with the power switch unresponsive.   The only way to get it to restart is by disconnecting it from the wall socket for 10 seconds and re-connecting it.  

This is random.  Yesterday it happened half way through a page when printing a two page Microsoft Word document.  Last week it happened on page 10 of a Microsoft Word document.  It happens on pdf documets too.   

Frustratingly, it only happens intermittently - say one print job in three.

I have been through this forum looking for support suggestions and though some people have asked similar questions relating to other printer models, none apply to the Officejet Pro.

Any suggestions gratefully received.
