So an unusual thing. We have several HP MFPs in our environment, and we use the DHCP reservation system. This works well for about every devices except for all the newer HPs in our environment (E77660 LaserJet, X55745, etc). They appear to get their IP reservation, domain name, but not DNS servers. Even when they pull a random (not reserved) DHCP address they don't see to populate those values. IIs this expected behavior for anything running FutureSmart?
We use DHCP option 006 "DNS servers".
I did check the box for "Enable DHCPv4 FQDN compliance with RFC 4702", but it didn't make any difference.
