Step 1: Check the Basics

- Check Connections: Verify that the printer is properly connected to your network or computer, either via Wi-Fi or a USB cable, depending on how you intend to set it up.
Step 2: Restart Devices
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait a minute, and then turn it back on.
- Restart the Laptop: Reboot your HP laptop to refresh any potentially problematic configurations.
Step 3: Use the HP Smart App
- Download and Open HP Smart App: If you haven't already, download the HP Smart app on your HP laptop.
