HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi-  I purchased the printer in 2022. It is connected to our network. HP monitors ink storage. At 3AM, the printer wakes up from its sleep and resets (not sure exactly what it's doing because I'm SLEEPING and only hear the clanging).  My guess is that it's checking the ink levels or something?  I have tried all of the settings in HP Smart. I've watched a youtube video. Help! I can obviously turn it OFF but I prefer to just have it be on sleep mode.

Hi @w2pirg,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing sleep mode issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-In-One Printer.

I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to update the firmware from HP Smart App.

1. Go to 123.hp.com (Android, Apple iOS, iPad OS), or HP Smart - Microsoft Store (Windows), or HP Smart - Mac App Store (Mac) (if not installed).

2. After completing the printer setup, click or tap on the printer’s name.

NOTE: Menu names, locations, and available settings vary by printer model.

3. Under Advanced, select Printer Home Page (EWS) or Advanced Settings.

4. Click or tap Tools or Web Services.

5. Click or tap Printer Updates or Product Update, and then click or tap Check Now.
