Common problems for Connectivity Issues

I been trying to set up my printer. I moved and got new wireless internet but my printer will not connect. I am not sure what to do and apparently HP has no one to call.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

I can help you troubleshoot the issue! Here are the steps to reconnect your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130nw to your new Wi-Fi:

 

Reset Network Settings

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button (📶 icon) to open the Wireless Menu.
  2. Navigate to Restore Network Defaults and select OK.
  3. The printer will restart and reset its network settings.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi

Using HP Smart App (Recommended)

  1. Download and install the HP Smart App on your PC or phone.
    • Download HP Smart
  2. Open the app and select Set up a new printer.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until it starts blinking.
  2. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait until the wireless light stops blinking—this means the connection is successful.

Manual Setup (If WPS is Not Available)

  1. Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable.
  2. Download and install the HP Easy Start software:
    • HP Easy Start
  3. Follow the setup process and choose Wireless Setup.
  4. Enter your new Wi-Fi network name and password.
  5. Once connected, disconnect the USB cable.

Print a Wireless Test Report

  1. Press the Setup button on the printer.
  2. Go to Network Setup > Print Wireless Test Report.
  3. Check if it says Connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
