I am having the same problem, although before starting up the new laptop, my old laptop and phone had lost connection with my hp printer too all of a sudden. I've tried the hp doctor, hp smart, downloading software, connecting via wps button. My phone, and both laptops just can't find the printer at all, even though it is connected to wifi. I can only print if I connect it via usb. Any other suggestions welcome...

Hi@sms14226,
I recommend you run the HP printer and scan doctor and it will automatically find and fix connectivity issues.
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hi.
Same problem, about a month ago I changed from virgin Hub3, into modem mode and using Nova mesh system. All set up fine and my HP Deskjet plus 4130 connected and printed no problems. Now, this weekend so of a sudden it won't connect to network. I've done all the things recommended I think, the printer is just not there. It is showing up in my WiFi network with it's SSID, but just won't connect. Only thing I can think of that I've done was to reset my windows 10 PC, keeping my files. Following the reset the HP Smart app appeared, I hadn't used they before on my PC just the windows print service. I mostly used HP Smart to print from my tablet or android smartphone.
So, I'm at my wit's end. Thinking of throwing the printer and buying another brand can't handle the stress anymore! It's just over a year old!
If anyone ( who hasn't fallen asleep reading this) has any idea what I can do I'd be really grateful.
Regards,
Bob

--->go to wireless ---> wireless 802.11---> select manual ip ---> apply
--->Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
--->then go to settings on the main ews page --> power management ---> select sleep mode to max 15min
