Hi @Jasmac39,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand the issue. If the Wi-Fi light on the HP Smart Tank 5105 keeps flashing continuously, it usually means the printer is not connected to the wireless network or is stuck in wireless setup mode.

Please try the following steps carefully:

1. Restart the printer and Wi-Fi router.

  • Turn the printer OFF
  • Unplug the router for about 60 seconds
  • Turn both back ON

2. Reset the printer's wireless setup:

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for about 5 seconds
  • Release them when the wireless light starts blinking

3. Open the HP App on your phone or computer: HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.

4. In the HP app:

  • Select Add Printer
  • Choose the HP Smart Tank 5105
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi

4. Make sure:

  • Your phone/computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network
  • You are using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network if your router separates the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands

Once setup completes, the Wi-Fi light should stop flashing and remain solid.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
