We just got AT&T fiber today and a new BGW320 router. Everything else has connected easily to the new system except our HPF110 printer. It found te network. I entered the password, and it acted like it was connected, but then it doesn’t fully connect. I tried resetting it to defaults and running the process again and it does the same thing. The network connection Report thinks it is connected and there is no problem, but it is giving the IP address that shows it made up its own IP address.
i have restarted it and the router and reset to default MULTIPLE times and have gotten nowhere.

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
- Ensure the printer and the Computer are connected to the same wireless network.
-Note:- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. Do not connect it to 5 GHz Network incase your Router supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, then the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Try using the HP Smart App to setup the printer

This definitely gave me more things to try, but it still wouldn’t connect to the WiFi. I was able to set up a separate network that only used 2.4. I was able to choose for the 2.4 to use b/g to match the printer. I made sure Mac filtering was turned off. I added the printer MAC address to trusted devices. I have the IPv6 turned off.
My printer is still saying that MAC address filtering may be enabled, but I have quadruple checked and it is not.
