If your HP DeskJet 3720 printer is not connecting to your phone, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue. Here's what you can do.
- Check Printer and Phone Compatibility: Ensure that your printer model is compatible with your phone's operating system. Check the HP website or the printer's manual for compatibility information.
- Enable Wi-Fi Direct: The HP DeskJet 3720 supports Wi-Fi Direct, which allows you to connect your phone directly to the printer without using a wireless router. On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Wi-Fi Direct settings and make sure it is enabled.
- Restart Devices: Sometimes, connectivity issues can be resolved by simply restarting both the printer and your phone. Turn them off, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.
- Update Firmware: Check for firmware updates for your printer. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity problems. If an update is available, follow the instructions to update the printer's firmware.
- Check Wi-Fi Connections: Ensure that both your printer and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi Direct can only work when both devices are connected to the same network.
