Hi @Cymru55,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing issues with your HP printer not connecting to a new wireless Wi-Fi network. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the problem:

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly. Connect another device, like a smartphone or laptop, to the network to verify its functionality.

Restart Your Printer and Router:

  • Turn off both your printer and the wireless router. Wait for about 30 seconds, then power them back on. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct network:
    • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings or setup menu.

    • Select the option for wireless setup wizard and follow the instructions to reconnect to the network.

Check for Updates:

Re-enter Network Credentials:

  • Make sure that the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and the password are entered correctly. They are case-sensitive.

Network Configuration:

  • Ensure the printer is configured with the correct network settings:
    • Disable any VPN or firewall temporarily and check if that resolves the issue.

    • Ensure that MAC address filtering on the router is either disabled or set to allow connections from the printer's MAC address.

      I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
