Hi @Rosa_905,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP ENVY 5010 All-In-One Printer to a Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps.

Prepare for Setup:

  • Make sure your Wi-Fi network is operational and you have the network name (SSID) and password (security key) on hand.

Power On the Printer:

  • Plug in your printer and power it on.

Touchscreen (if applicable):

  • If your HP ENVY 5010 has a touchscreen display, tap on the screen to navigate the setup options.

Access the Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • Navigate to the printer's control panel or touchscreen display and look for the "Wireless" or "Network" setup option. You may need to consult your printer's manual for the exact steps as it can vary between printer models.

Select Your Network:

  • The Wireless Setup Wizard will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Once it displays your network, select it.

Enter Wi-Fi Password:

  • You'll be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi network password. Use the keyboard on the touchscreen to enter your network's password.

Connect to the Network:

  • After entering the password, your printer will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network. It may take a moment.

Print a Network Test Report (optional):

  • You can print a network test report to confirm that your printer is connected successfully to the network. This report may contain your printer's IP address and other network information.

Install Printer Software (if needed):

  • To use your printer with a computer, you may need to install the necessary printer software and drivers. You can usually find these on the HP website or use the installation CD that came with your printer.

Test Your Printer:

  • Once your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network and any necessary software is installed on your computer, try printing a test page to ensure everything is working correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
