What is the free app to use with a HP deskjet 2900 series printer to print from an  iPhone. I do not want to pay a subscription. Just want to print black and white copies.

@ferRX is correct.  There is no fee to print from iPhone.  The app to use is HP Smart or HP App (another name for it)

In addition to using that app, some iPhone apps have their own way to print

This is my printable list, there may be other ways.

• Email: Click the forward button and scroll down to the print command. Both my HP and Canon show up
• Notes: Click the forward button and select either Print or HP App to print.
• Messages. Cannot print them. I forward as email to my PC to print a message. If the message has an image it can be saved first and then printed
• Photos: Click the forward button then look for "Print"
• Attached PDFs: click the forward button and then select "Print"
