I've been running in circles over this issue and hoping someone can help me.
About 2-3 weeks ago, one of the printers in our small office went down. Send a job to it and the error saying "HP Instant Ink Problem. Cannot print. Connect printer to update HP Instant Ink status" pops up. I click "Connect" and after a few moments the error "No Internet Connection" appears. This is where the runaround starts: the printer is connected to the internet. The silver lining while we figured this out was that it would still print copies, but now even that feature has ceased.
To reestablish the connection, I've tried (multiple times): turning the printer off and back on again (even unplugging it), made sure the computer software was up-to-date (MAC OS Sonoma), reset the printer back to factory settings & reinstalled, checked it's IP address which verified that it the printer was connected to our network, HP ePrint, & enrolled in HP Instant Ink services, and I've also reset our router.
I finally had gotten everything on the IP page saying that all devices (printer, computer, HP) were communicating & the printer itself verified that everything was connected, but when I held my breath & clicked print on a test page, that initial error of "HP Instant Ink Problem" came up and the cycle began again.
Wondering if it is an issue with the Instant Ink subscription, although we've had that for a year+ without any issues. This printer is a bit on the older side, but has become affectionately known as "ol' reliable," so I'd love to give it a fighting chance before we replace it. Has anyone else run into this issue or have any ideas?
