Product: Envy 4527
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hi there,

I have an Envy 4527 set up wirelessly. I can print from an upstairs iMac running High Sierra. I can print from my iPad.

However, I can't print or scan from the iMac right next to the printer which is running Catalina.

I have tried setting up again using Easy start. The printer is located but is unable to communicate with the iMac.

I have also downloaded the firmware.

Any help much appreciated.

These are the responses I get but nothing is printing. Also there is a ? permanently on the display screen. Obviously relates to some sort of error but I've no idea what!

Think I'll just buy a new, non HP printer. I guess this one has had its day.

All sorted now.

If anyone is interested, I reset the SMC on my iMac and was able to print again. Still couldn't print from my iPad so I reset Network Settings on it.

Everything working again.

Hope this info helps someone else.
