Check for network and connection issues if you cannot print or scan with a wireless HP printer. If you are trying to set up your printer through a restricted or guest network, the printer’s IP address must be allowed access on the router before a two-way communication can be established. Contact the router administrator if you are on a restricted network, such as those found in hotels, colleges, and public establishments.

I'd suggest you follow the steps from the Troubleshoot a Wi-Fi connection to an HP printer
